Don't Fall For It! My EyeBuy Direct Nightmare: Two Unusable Pairs! 🚨👓
I’m sharing my terrible online shopping experience as a cautionary tale. I felt I had no choice but to leave a review and try to resolve this with customer service because the quality was so poor. My direct feeling and conclusion about this ordeal is that I’m afraid I don’t have many positive things to say about EyeBuy Direct. I ordered prescription glasses, progressive lenses with the blue light filter. The glasses received did not have the blue light filter. I contacted EyeBuy Direct and was sent replacement glasses. Not only did the replacements not have the blue light filter, clear vision through the glasses was only possible in the straight forward view. View to either side is distorted and blurry. While customer service tried to help, the quality just isn’t there. I will not be able to use either of the glasses shipped to me, I suppose you get what you pay for.
Customer: Hi, I'm calling about my recent order. This is the second pair you've sent, and they're still wrong, making them completely unusable. CS Rep: I understand your frustration. I see you contacted us previously about the missing blue light filter. Can you confirm the order number and explain the issues with this new pair? Customer: Yes, it’s order [Order Number]. The blue light filter is still missing, just like the first pair! And these new progressive lenses are awful; my vision is only clear straight ahead. Looking to either side is blurry and distorted. CS Rep: I am truly sorry to hear that. Receiving two defective pairs, especially impacting your vision, is unacceptable. We want to resolve this for you. Customer: Resolve it? I can't use either of these glasses. I just want what I paid for. CS Rep: I completely understand. After reviewing your details, this is clearly not the quality experience we intend. How about we process a full refund for both pairs, and as an apology, offer a significant discount on a future order if you wish to try us again?
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of receiving unusable glasses.
