My Prescription Sunglasses Nightmare: Delays, Lies, & Green Lenses! 😤
Please, learn from my terrible online shopping experience. I ordered prescription sunglasses, trusting their promise of up to 6 business days for production. Instead, it took over 10 business days, then even more delays. They lied about "NEXT DAY shipping" too, sending it via snail mail. But the worst part? I finally received them, and they were incorrect – Green lenses instead of the Grey I ordered! I'm completely done with this company; nothing has gone right. My experience is far from unique, and it compelled me to leave this review and demand answers from customer service.
Customer: My order, ID #12345, arrived on 4/17, and it's wrong. I ordered Grey lenses, and you sent Green. This is after all the production delays and the shipping promise was broken. CS Rep: I am so sorry to hear about the issues with your order, #12345. It sounds incredibly frustrating to wait so long only to receive the incorrect product. Customer: Frustrating is an understatement. I tried to contact you via email, but it's unmonitored, and the chatbots are useless. This has wasted so much of my time. CS Rep: I truly apologize for the difficulty you experienced reaching us and the miscommunication. We absolutely need to fix this. I can process a replacement order for the correct Grey lenses immediately and arrange for expedited shipping at no extra cost to you. Customer: So how long will this new order take, and what do I do with these green ones? I'm skeptical, to say the least. CS Rep: The replacement will be prioritized and should ship within 3-5 business days. We will also provide a prepaid return label for the incorrect pair.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap of missed commitments and wrong products.
